Motion Education Raises the Banner of Success Again

Motion Education, Kota, has once again achieved remarkable success in the results of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024, the country's largest engineering entrance exam.

Nitin Vijay, the founder and CEO of Motion Education, stated that the students of Motion Education have once again demonstrated excellence in the results of the JEE Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Out of the 10,132 students of Motion who appeared for the exam, 6,891 have been selected for JEE Advanced, resulting in a selection ratio of 68.01%. This selection ratio for Motion students is significantly higher compared to the national average of 17.68%.

Top scorers in the general and OBC categories include 44 Motionites among the top thousand. Notably, Visharad Srivastava secured the 40th rank and Ishan Gupta secured the 46th rank, both achieving a perfect percentile score. Additionally, Jayant Kumar achieved a percentile score of 99.998 and secured the 77th rank.

Scholarship Announcement:

Nitin Vijay announced that students scoring above the 99th percentile in JEE Main 2024 will receive a 100% scholarship for coaching at Motion Education. Scholarships ranging from 93.99% to 30.30% will be awarded to students scoring between 97 and 50 percentile.

Celebration of Success:

To celebrate the excellent results, Motion Education organized a celebration of success at its Drona-2 campus on Thursday. The atmosphere at the institution was filled with joy as the joint director, head of the JEE Division, and other officials congratulated the selected students and toppers.

Encouragement for Advanced Preparation:

Top scorers emphasized the importance of consistent effort and smart work for success in exams. They expressed their aspiration to become computer engineers at IITs and highlighted the coaching faculty's role in their success. They mentioned the daily self-study, practice, doubt clearing sessions, and concept discussions planned with the faculty for JEE Advanced preparation.

Registration for Advanced:

Nitin Vijay informed that the registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 will commence from April 27th on the jeeadv.ac.in website. The last date for registration is May 7th, and the fee payment deadline is May 10th. The exam will be held on May 26th, and admit cards will be available from May 17th onwards.

Increased Cut-offs:

This year, the cut-off percentile for the general category in JEE Main April session was 2.45 points higher than in 2023. Despite the increase in cut-offs, the number of students selected in the general category was 1261 less than the previous year.

Understanding Percentile:

Nitin Vijay clarified that percentile does not directly correlate with percentage. While percentage indicates the score obtained out of 100 in each subject, percentile indicates the percentage of candidates who scored lower than the candidate. He elaborated on how percentile is calculated and its significance in competitive exams.

The JEE Main 2024 examination was conducted in January and April, with a total of 14,15,110 students participating in both sessions. This year witnessed a record number of unique candidates registering for JEE Main, with 14,76,557 candidates registering for the exam.
