On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, Gulati Physiotherapy & Pain Relief Clinic, Kota, organized several programs on Monday, including direct interaction with patients and a free medical camp. During the camp, more than 350 patients were examined, treated, and guided on preventive care for the future.
Clinic Director and Founder Dr. Vinay Naveen Gulati announced that for the next one year, financially weak patients will be provided free physiotherapy services or charged a nominal fee. Speaking to the media, Dr. Gulati stated that the demand for physiotherapy is constantly increasing, as it is essential after almost every surgery. Neglecting physiotherapy could worsen a patient’s condition. He further explained that different branches of physiotherapy cater to specific medical needs, including neuro, orthopedic, cardiac, and other areas.
From Stretcher to Running: A Patient’s Story
Highlighting success stories, Dr. Gulati invited patients who had overcome severe conditions with physiotherapy. Lekhraj Pareta from Baran shared his experience, stating that he was brought to the clinic on a stretcher but, within just 10 days of treatment, he was able to stand, run, play, and live a normal life again.
Felicitation of Physiotherapists and Recovered Patients
Dr. Avtar Doi from Jaipur informed that a special felicitation ceremony was also held, where physiotherapists from Kota city were honored. Patients who had suffered severe health issues but regained full recovery through physiotherapy were also recognized and felicitated.
