Three-Day District Process Lab Concludes in Udaipur

Transformation of 758 Tribal Villages Under ‘Adi Karmyogi–Responsible Governance Campaign’

Udaipur,  The three-day District Process Lab training under the Rural Development Department’s Adi Karmyogi–Responsible Governance Campaign concluded at Hotel Kajri, Udaipur, on Thursday. The closing session was presided over by District Collector Namit Mehta and chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad.

The Collector stated that through this campaign, development action plans will be prepared for tribal regions by ensuring coordination among 17 departments. Those who have been left out of government schemes so far will be identified and given benefits.

Campaign to Reach the Village Level

Mehta emphasized that priority will be given to infrastructure development in tribal areas, focusing on roads, electricity, water, healthcare, and education. He added that the Adi Karmyogis trained at the District Process Lab will form teams at the block level to strengthen villages and connect every person with the campaign, ensuring wider public participation.

Dharati Aba Tribal Village Utkars Campaign

Chief Executive Officer Ria Dabi highlighted that the three-day training was organized to empower individuals and institutions for tribal development and transformation. She informed that under the Dharati Aba Tribal Village Utkars Campaign, 758 tribal-dominated villages have been selected across the district. For these villages, detailed development plans will be drawn up with the involvement of 17 departments.

She further explained that Block Master Trainers (BMTs) were trained by District Master Trainers (DMATs) during the program. These BMTs will, in turn, train Adi Karmyogis, Adi Sahayogis, and Adi Sathis. Post-training, the campaign will collectively deliver the benefits of 25 welfare schemes from 17 departments to tribal communities.

Holistic Tribal Development a Government Priority

Addressing the press after the training, Collector Mehta reiterated that 758 tribal villages fall under the campaign’s ambit. The initiative aims to expand infrastructure, increase scheme saturation levels, and provide benefits to previously excluded eligible individuals.

He assured that holistic tribal development remains a top government priority, and with the support and suggestions of local citizens, the campaign will evolve into a people’s movement.
