Vidya Bhawan Society organized a grand Excellence Awards Ceremony at the Vidya Bhawan Auditorium, where more than 200 meritorious students from government and private schools across the division were felicitated for their outstanding performance in Class 10 and 12 board examinations.
Addressing the gathering, Vasudev Devnani said that success in life depends on two keys — hard work and destiny — but destiny alone cannot open the doors of achievement without sincere effort. He encouraged students to remain devoted to continuous hard work and dedication in order to achieve lasting success.

Sharing his motivational “Four D” formula for progress, Devnani explained that Devotion, Dedication, and Determination naturally lead to the fourth “D” — Development. Referring to India’s New Education Policy, he emphasized that the nation’s future would be shaped through knowledge, skills, and strong character.
He further stated that while Artificial Intelligence has become an important part of modern life, human values, sensitivity, and culture can only be nurtured through family, society, and value-based education. Highlighting the importance of Integrity, Innovation, and Initiative, he urged students to become responsible citizens while staying connected to India’s rich cultural roots.
Recalling his long association with Vidya Bhawan, Devnani paid tribute to founder Mohan Singh Mehta and praised the institution for pioneering inclusive education at a time when educational awareness was limited across the country. He noted that Vidya Bhawan created opportunities for students from all sections of society, irrespective of economic background or gender.
Guest of Honour Gaurav Agarwal encouraged students to remain disciplined and hardworking throughout their educational journey. Sharing experiences from his own academic life, he said that dedication and consistency are the keys to achieving every milestone in life.
Presiding over the ceremony, Vidya Bhawan Society President Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tayalia highlighted the institution’s contributions to society since 1931 and shared details about upcoming projects including a modern sports complex and an international school.
CEO Rajendra Bhatt stated that Vidya Bhawan has always remained committed to shaping the future of students across the region.
The event concluded on an inspiring note as students enthusiastically interacted and clicked photographs with the Assembly Speaker and District Collector before the programme ended with the National Anthem.
