Seminar Organized by Ambedkar Mission on the Thoughts of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar

Udaipur: On the eve of the 133rd birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a seminar was organized by the Ambedkar Mission at Sukhadiya University to discuss his national ideologies. The event was chaired by Dr. Puranmal Yadav, Director of the Population Research Center, with special guest Ms. Manju Chauhan in attendance. The keynote speaker for the seminar was Vinod Kumar, the State Coordinator of the Ambedkar Mission.

Vinod Kumar emphasized that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's national contributions were not adequately recognized during his lifetime. Some individuals conspired to suppress his fundamental ideologies from reaching the nation. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar dedicated his life to the nation, and the dimensions he introduced are still guiding the country today. He established the Election Commission of India, founded the Reserve Bank of India, initiated projects like the Damodar Valley and Hirakud Dam, secured voting rights for senior citizens in 1950, and introduced the world's largest constitution.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar believed that the nation is a living entity and its spirituality lies in its people. He asserted that lacking nationalism is akin to being unarmed in a crowd; the nation is as ancient as its flora. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar declared himself the first and last Indian, and his acceptance of Buddhism was based on his belief that it originated from Indian soil. Therefore, embracing Indian Buddhism was significant to him.

Dr. Puranmal Yadav, in his presidential address, urged the audience to follow Dr. Ambedkar's nationalist ideologies and incorporate his fundamental thoughts into their lives to become true Ambedkarites. 

Ms. Manju Chauhan highlighted Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's unparalleled efforts for women. The event was managed by Mr. Deepak Sanwariya, co-coordinator of the Ambedkar Mission, with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Shantilal Jinkar. Ajay Salvi, co-coordinator of the Ambedkar Mission, introduced the guests. The Ambedkar Mission works to propagate the national ideologies of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and serves the marginalized communities.
