Congress Disrespected Ambedkar, BJP Confers Bharat Ratna: Bairwa

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa addressed three rallies in support of BJP candidate Om Birla in the Kota-Bundi Lok Sabha constituency on Monday. Dr. Bairwa addressed a gathering at Hat Maidan in Ayana, followed by rallies in Khatoli at the vegetable market behind the police station, and in Lakhheri at Balaji Marriage Garden.

Dr. Bairwa highlighted that the Bharatiya Janata Party has honored Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by awarding him the Bharat Ratna and by constructing five pilgrimage sites for the Scheduled Castes. He criticized the Congress for disrespecting Dr. Ambedkar, contrasting it with the BJP's elevation of a Dalit leader to the presidency, which he sees as a source of pride for the Dalit community.

Furthermore, Dr. Bairwa praised Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, describing him as a leader of the 36 communities who always remains among the poor. He emphasized Birla's special place in the hearts of Dalits and marginalized communities, recalling his presence among the huts of Dalits during the foundation laying ceremony of the Ram Temple, where he illuminated their homes with lamps.
