Udaipur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) City District Unit of Udaipur launched the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Mega Campaign 2026 with the first-day training session of the Sardar Patel Mandal held at Gamer Bagh.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by BJP City District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, who inaugurated the opening session.
Addressing the gathering, Gajpal Singh Rathore said that training sessions are an important part of the BJP’s organizational tradition. Through these programs, workers are introduced to the party’s ideology, history, working style, and core objective of public service. He emphasized that a well-informed and trained worker is the real strength of the organization, and it is through their efforts that the party’s policies and ideas reach the last person in society.
The training program was attended by several senior leaders including Pramod Samar (State Executive Member), Phool Singh Meena (Rural MLA), Amrit Lal Menaria (Mandal President), District General Secretaries Devilal Salvi and Pankaj Borana, former District President Dinesh Bhatt, and District Minister Karan Singh, along with many senior office bearers and party workers.
During the training session, former District President Dinesh Bhatt elaborated on the topic of ideological foundation, recalling the nationalist vision and contributions of Syama Prasad Mukherjee. He highlighted Dr. Mukherjee’s struggle for national unity and integrity and his role in founding the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which laid a strong foundation for nationalist politics in India. He urged party workers to understand the party’s history and ideology and become agents of positive change in society.
State Executive Member Pramod Samar spoke about upcoming organizational programs, including celebrations related to the party’s Foundation Day, the birth anniversaries of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and B. R. Ambedkar. He encouraged workers to connect with different sections of society through these events and strengthen the organization further. He also highlighted the importance of the popular public outreach program Mann Ki Baat, led by Narendra Modi, as a medium to engage with society.
Former councillor and committee chairman Manohar Chaudhary conducted a detailed session on election planning and booth management. He explained strategies for strengthening the organization at the booth level, maintaining voter contact, increasing voter turnout, and ensuring effective election management. He noted that BJP’s electoral success is largely built on a strong booth-level structure and active grassroots workers.
Many workers of the Sardar Patel Mandal participated enthusiastically in the training session and reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s ideology, organizational discipline, and public service.
According to Media In-charge Dr. Seema Champawat, all participants pledged to strengthen the organization at the booth level with the spirit of “Nation First” and to ensure that the party’s policies reach every section of society.
Among those present at the program were District Minister Hazari Jain, Prakash Agarwal, Mandal General Secretaries Vijay Prajapat and Gajendra Agarwal, Mandal Vice Presidents Dhirendra Singh and Napendra Jain, along with Dinesh Dave, Jayant Ojha, Sunny Pokharna, Mahesh Sharma, Hemant Sisodia, Councillor Mahesh Trivedi, Santosh Menaria, Rajkumari Ganna, OBC Morcha District President Babulal Od, Kapil Rathore, and several other senior leaders, Shakti Kendra coordinators, and party workers.
