Udaipur: In a significant move to make Udaipur’s tourism sector more organized, robust, and modern, Business Circle International (BCI) has launched its new tourism wing, ‘BCI Tourism’. The first official meeting of this wing will be held on March 24 at 6:00 PM at Oriental Palace Resorts, Subhash Nagar.
The meeting will bring together hoteliers, travel agents, tour operators, event planners, guides, and other tourism professionals on a single platform for introductions, discussions, and networking, exploring new business opportunities and collaborations.
Mukesh Madhvani, founder and chairman of BCI, highlighted the importance of tourism for Udaipur’s economy. “Every year, millions of domestic and international tourists visit the city, supporting the livelihoods of thousands connected to hotels, travel, transport, events, and local businesses,” he said.
The aim of BCI Tourism is to create a strong networking platform for all stakeholders in the tourism sector, where they can share experiences, explore new opportunities, and collaborate to elevate their businesses to new heights. Madhvani expressed hope that this platform will drive positive change and innovation in the tourism industry.
Dr. Shraddha Gattani, president of BCI Tourism, shared her vision, stating that the organization seeks to promote continuous dialogue, cooperation, and innovation among tourism professionals. She emphasized that with the tourism industry rapidly evolving, new challenges and opportunities are emerging. By coming together, sharing experiences, and planning collaboratively, Udaipur’s tourism sector can strengthen its presence both nationally and internationally.
General Secretary Gaurav Bhandari provided an overview of the meeting preparations, explaining that discussions will cover BCI Tourism’s functioning, upcoming activities, and long-term plans. The session will also include member introductions, allowing tourism professionals to connect and explore potential collaborations.
Secretary Surbhi Menaria Dhing noted that the platform will serve as an effective medium for networking, cooperation, and problem-solving for those working in tourism. Participants will get the opportunity to share experiences and openly discuss industry challenges, strengthening professional coordination.
Treasurer Swati Swarooparia added that the meeting will also focus on membership drives, budget allocation, and resources for upcoming projects. She stated that the goal of BCI Tourism is to create a strong network that not only fosters business growth but also plays a key role in shaping the future of Udaipur’s tourism.
