Awareness Workshop on Quality Concepts Organized at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College

An “Awareness Workshop on Quality Concepts” was organized at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College by the Rajsamand Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) with the objective of developing awareness about quality among students. More than 50 students and around 20 faculty members enthusiastically participated in the program.

The workshop aimed to familiarize students with modern quality concepts used in industrial and professional sectors so that they could develop quality-oriented thinking in their academic and professional lives. Important quality management techniques such as 5S, 6 Sigma, and Kaizen were explained in a simple and practical manner. Through corporate case studies and real-life examples, students were shown how small positive improvements can lead to significant results.

The session featured Sunil Jagasia, Mahima Birla, and Vikram Kumawat as keynote speakers. They emphasized that in today’s competitive era, technical knowledge alone is not enough; awareness toward quality, teamwork, discipline, and a mindset of continuous improvement are equally essential for success.

The program began with a welcome address and inaugural speech by the college principal Anil Mehta. He expressed gratitude to the organizers for conducting such a useful and inspiring workshop for students. He said that programs like these not only enhance academic learning but also help students understand industry expectations and practical work culture.

During the workshop, students actively participated in discussions and activities related to quality management concepts. At the conclusion of the event, participants described the workshop as highly informative and motivating. The organizers also expressed their commitment to conducting similar programs in the future for the holistic development of students.
