Fate of 21.85 Lakh Voters in Udaipur District Decided


Udaipur,  The final publication of voter lists and supplementary lists for the 2023 State Legislative Assembly Elections has been completed in Udaipur district. A total of 21,85,264 voters will play a crucial role in determining the fate of the candidates in the 8 legislative assembly constituencies of the district.

Deputy District Election Officer Shailesh Surana revealed that Kherwada has the highest number of voters with 2,97,606, while Udaipur city has the lowest with 2,46,369 voters. Of the total voters in the district, there are 1,074,130 female voters and 1,111,110 male voters. Additionally, there are 24 transgender voters in the district.

Here is the breakdown of voters in each legislative assembly constituency:
- Gogunda: 2,64,791 voters, including 1,35,554 male and 1,29,236 female voters, with one transgender voter.
- Jhadol: 2,73,484 voters, including 1,40,571 male and 1,32,909 female voters, with four transgender voters.
- Kherwada: 2,97,606 voters, including 1,51,711 male and 1,45,894 female voters, with one transgender voter.
- Udaipur Gramin: 2,85,172 voters, including 1,44,055 male and 1,41,108 female voters, with nine transgender voters.
- Udaipur Shahar: 2,46,369 voters, including 1,23,786 male and 1,22,582 female voters, with one transgender voter.
- Mavli: 2,57,997 voters, including 1,30,507 male and 1,27,485 female voters, with five transgender voters.
- Vallabhnagar: 2,64,696 voters, including 1,34,661 male and 1,30,033 female voters, with two transgender voters.
- Salumbar: 2,95,149 voters, including 1,50,265 male and 1,44,883 female voters, with one transgender voter.

In addition, the Election Commission of India had allowed an opportunity for eligible voters aged 18 to apply for voter registration until October 27 as part of the second special summary revision program. The process was conducted through the Voter Helpline app and through BLOs. During this period, 10,478 new voters were added to the supplementary lists, and 520 voters updated their addresses in the voter lists in Udaipur district.
