Youth Revisited" of Muskan Club brought smiles

On the eve of Mahavir Jayanti, the esteemed senior citizen group "Youth Revisited" of Muskan Club brought smiles to all with a special Saturday evening program featuring devotional songs and folk music presentations.

The event, held under the auspices of the Vice President of the club, K.K. Tripathi, Surajmal Porwal, and Secretary Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, captivated the audience. Discussions and hymns dedicated to Lord Mahavir were presented by Bhagwati Lal Indravat, Shantilal, Ashok Kumar Choubisa, Surekha Babel, Pratap Chaudhary, Sheila Chaudhary, and Usha Intodia.

The folk music presentations included performances by Brij Lal Soni from Mevad with Avadhi and Mithila folk songs, Ajit Singh Khichi with the Malvi song "Badarwa Aai Gya," Rajni Joshi with Uttarakhand's "Chunri Teri Chamakli Gulabi Sharara," Ashok Joshi with the Rajasthani "Thane Kajaliyo Banalu," Lakshmi Mathur with "Ud Ud Re Mara Kala Re Kagla," and Varsha Mehta with the emotional Punjabi folk song "Madhaniyan" sung on the occasion of a daughter's farewell.

Arun Choubisa presented the Rajasthani folk song "Baisa Veera Jaipur Jajo Ji," Kusum Tripathi sang the Gujarati folk song "Mehndi To Vavi Rang Lagyo," Amar Mathur sang the Rajasthani song "Kha Gayo Bairy Bichhudo," Harpreet Makkar presented the Punjabi folk song "Kala Doriya Kunde Naal Adiya Ae Oye," Bhagwat Singh Ada performed the Rajasthani song "Chhoriya Javo Mhare Virane Her Lyaavo Ji," Madhubala Pandit sang the separation song "Khadi Neem Ke Neeche Aikali," Chandrashekhar Parsai presented the Maand song "Kesariya Balam Aavo Ni," Ummed Singh Dulawat sang "Mehndi Rang Lago," K.K. Tripathi presented "Manne Pyaro Lago Shreeji Tharo Naam," and A.M. Mathur concluded the program with "Sun Ke Maykhane Ko Hum."

The national anthem marked the end of the event, after which everyone enjoyed light refreshments.
