Udaipur: The 12th Inter-Divisional Civil Services Sports Tournament 2025–26 will be held in Udaipur from March 5 to 7, 2026. The district administration has intensified preparations to ensure the successful conduct of the event.
A preparatory meeting was held on Tuesday at the Collectorate Mini Conference Hall under the direction of District Collector Namit Mehta. The meeting was attended by ADM (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore and ADM (City) Jitendra Ojha, where detailed discussions were held regarding arrangements related to the tournament.
ADM Rathore informed that around 850 players from all divisions of the state are expected to participate in the three-day event. Officials discussed comprehensive arrangements including accommodation, meals, transportation, availability of sports grounds, security, and medical facilities. Instructions were also given to finalize plans for the opening and closing ceremonies, invitations, reception, and the overall event framework.
Responsibilities were assigned to various departments with directions to ensure timely preparations. The District Collector emphasized that providing the best possible facilities to the players is the administration’s top priority, aiming to make the event successful and memorable.
The tournament will feature various sports including table tennis, cricket, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, and kabaddi. Competitions will be held at different sports grounds and stadiums across the city.
The district administration has directed all concerned departments to work in coordination and conduct the event in accordance with state-level standards.
The meeting was attended by District Sports Officer Dr. Mahesh Paliwal, Transport Officer Mukesh Dadh, Accounts Officer Ramesh Babri, Deputy Director OTS Mahendra Singh Seemar, Deputy Director RSCERT Piyush Kumar Jain, along with officials from UDA and the Municipal Corporation.
