Udaipur: The Jain social group ‘Kutumb’ organized a vibrant event to promote traditional culture, celebrating the Gangaur Festival and Radha-Krishna Holi with great enthusiasm.
The program began with a welcoming address by Preeti Mehta, secretary of Kutumb, followed by the ceremonial lighting of lamps and Ganesh Vandana, led by the group’s president Praveen Nahar, officially marking the start of the festivities.
On this occasion, all the women participants dressed in traditional attire and took out the Gangaur procession, performing the rituals and worship of Gangaur, which added cultural significance and grandeur to the event.
A beautiful representation of Radha-Krishna was presented by Jitendra Nahar and Kiran Nahar, which captivated the audience with its charm and elegance. Members further enlivened the program with their cultural performances, creating a joyous and festive atmosphere throughout.
During the Holi celebration, all members of the Kutumb family played Holi using flower garlands and petals, symbolizing love, unity, and fraternity in a traditional way.
The successful organization of the event was credited to coordinators Abha Jain, Meena Lodha, and Sunita Jain for their dedicated efforts. The enthusiastic presence of all couples and family members made the celebration extremely successful and memorable.
The event not only highlighted the rich traditions of Rajasthan but also fostered community bonding, cultural pride, and festive joy among all participants.
