Udaipur: Following the request of Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat, the Union Ministry of Health has approved the creation of posts for the upcoming Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Wellness Centre in Udaipur. Dr. Rawat expressed his gratitude to Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda and urged him to ensure the early commencement of the centre.
Dr. Rawat stated that the approval for new posts for the CGHS Wellness Centre in the district has been confirmed by the Union Health Minister. The sanctioned positions include one Medical Officer, one Nursing Officer, one Pharmacist, and one Junior Health Administrative Assistant (JHAA).
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda informed that necessary directions have been issued regarding the operation of the new CGHS Wellness Centre in Udaipur and the structuring of the newly approved posts. Notably, this CGHS Wellness Centre will be the first and only such facility in southern Rajasthan, made possible through the efforts of MP Dr. Rawat.
The establishment of this centre has long been awaited by central government employees and pensioners in the region. While the centre had been announced in recent months, the approval of staff positions marks a significant step toward its operationalization.
Dr. Rawat has also written to the Union Health Minister, requesting that necessary instructions be issued to the Additional Director, CGHS Jaipur (Rajasthan), to ensure that the proposed wellness centre in Udaipur is made operational at the earliest.
