World Water Day and Holi Festival Celebrated by Education Department

The Education Department of Mohanlal Sukhadia University organized celebrations for World Water Day and the Holi festival. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. Alpana Singh, Head of the Education Department, Dr. Kumud Purohit, and Dr. Sapna Mavatwal. Dr. Himanshu Bhatt conducted a water source worship ceremony as part of the event.

Poetry recitations and discussions on the necessity and importance of water were held during the program. Dr. Alpana Singh emphasized in her address that water is life, and its significance can only be realized when we start conserving every drop of it from now. Without water, human life is inconceivable.

Dr. Himanshu Bhatt advised to use water cautiously and to make efforts every day to utilize it meaningfully. All students pledged to start conserving water from today onwards. Folk songs were presented by members of the department. Additionally, songs, poems, and other cultural activities were presented with joy and enthusiasm during the Holi festival.

The program was conducted by Dr. Monica Jarauli, and gratitude was expressed by trainee Surbhi Sharma. All members of the department and trainees were present at the event.
