The chief speaker and chief guest of the program was Shri Yogendra Singh Rathore, Deputy Inspector General, Border Security Force (BSF), Bhuj (Gujarat). Distinguished guests included Dr. Lal Singh Sarangdevot, Distinguished Professor, California (USA); Shri B.A. Mahajan, Director, Institute for Sustainable Agriculture, New Delhi; and Shri Prem Singh Shaktawat, Former Councillor, Udaipur, and senior member of the RCA Alumni Council.
At the outset, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahla, Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture and Chief Patron of the Alumni Council, welcomed all dignitaries.
Alumni Council Secretary Dr. J.L. Choudhary presented an overview of the year-round activities undertaken by the RCA Alumni and felicitated the guests.
Addressing the students, DIG Yogendra Singh Rathore emphasized that life often presents many failures, but one should not be discouraged by them. With strong determination, dedication, discipline and time-bound effort, every individual can reach their destination.
Recalling his own student life, he shared that when one works sincerely, puts in hard work, and remains committed, circumstances themselves start supporting their progress.
Distinguished guests and RCA alumni Dr. L.S. Sarangdevot and Shri B.A. Mahajan highlighted the vast employment and entrepreneurial opportunities available in the field of agriculture. They encouraged students to explore prospects for higher education in Europe and the United States and assured their full support.
Local MLA from Udaipur Rural, Shri Phool Singh Meena, praised DIG Rathore for his bravery during Operation Sindoor and the Kargil War, calling him an inspiration for the youth.
Shri Gajpal Singh Rathore, BJP City District President, expressed pride in having an alumnus like DIG Yogendra Singh Rathore, stating that his achievements bring honour to both the college and the entire community.
Several faculty members including Dr. S.S. Lakhawat, Dr. Amit Dadhich, Dr. S.K. Khandelwal, Dr. Virendra Singh, Dr. D.P.S. Dudi, Dr. Siddharth Mishra, Dr. G.L. Meena, Dr. Hari Singh, and Dr. Latika Sharma, along with a large number of students, attended the program.
The event was anchored by Dr. Urmila, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Dipankar Chakravarti, Joint Secretary of the Alumni Council.
