Dr. Vikramaditya Dave, Associate Dean (Student Welfare), informed that around 150 students actively participated in the event. In his address, Dr. Dave highlighted the inspiring life and complete biography of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, stating that every aspect of Babasaheb’s life offers significant lessons for society.
He emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar tirelessly worked for the upliftment of every section of society. He was the first Indian to earn a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. Dr. Dave further added that after India’s independence, Babasaheb not only played a pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution but, as the nation’s first Law Minister, introduced crucial reforms in Hindu laws, empowering women and helping abolish regressive practices such as polygamy.
Students including Divya, Abhishek, Manoj, Navratan, Lakshya, Anjali, and Vaibhav also shared their thoughts on Dr. Ambedkar’s life and contributions.
The event was attended by several dignitaries including Dr. Narottam Soni, Er. Manoj, Er. Bhagirath Joshi, Er. Vivek Meena, and Dr. Pankaj Upadhyay, among others.
