Dr. Atul Luhadia of PMCH Wins First Place in IAB Endobronchial Ultrasound Quiz, Brings Glory to Udaipur

Udaipur – Dr. Atul Luhadia, renowned Pulmonologist at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Udaipur, has once again brought national recognition to Udaipur and the institution. He secured first place in the quiz competition held during the Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) Certification Course, organized by the Indian Association for Bronchology (IAB) in Delhi.

More than 200 chest and tuberculosis specialists from across the country participated in this prestigious workshop. The event aimed to train participants in EBUS, a cutting-edge diagnostic technique combining bronchoscopy and ultrasound to enable precise biopsy of the lungs and surrounding lymph nodes.

EBUS is especially effective in diagnosing tuberculosis, lung cancer, and gland-related diseases. One of its major advantages is that it is minimally invasive, allowing for quicker recovery for patients.

For his outstanding achievement, Dr. Luhadia was honored by Dr. Amita Nene (Secretary, IAB) and Dr. Vivek Nangia (Vice President, IAB).
