###PMCH Inaugurates Renovated Medicine Ward with Healing Environment

Udaipur: Pacific Medical College and Hospital has taken another significant step toward expanding patient-centric healthcare facilities with the inauguration of its newly renovated Medicine Ward at Bhilon Ka Bedla. The ward was inaugurated by chief guest Rajkumar Agrawal along with institution Chairperson Preeti Agrawal, Executive Director Aman Agrawal, Hospital Superintendent Dr. Sunita Maheshwari, and Head of Medicine Department Dr. Girish Verma.

Designed around the concept of a healing environment, the new ward has been developed to provide patients with natural sunlight, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere aimed at improving both physical and mental recovery. Large windows and an open ventilation system have been specially incorporated to create a calm and refreshing treatment environment.

Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Aman Agrawal said the institution’s vision goes beyond medical treatment and focuses equally on patients’ emotional and psychological wellbeing. He stated that exposure to natural light not only accelerates recovery but also reduces stress and anxiety among admitted patients.

Head of the Medicine Department Dr. Girish Verma explained that proper sunlight and ventilation help reduce infection risks while positively impacting patients’ mental health. He added that the redesigned ward has been structured to ensure comfort, hygiene, and efficient patient care.

The ward will function with round-the-clock availability of senior resident doctors and trained nursing staff. A modernized nursing station has also been developed to enable continuous monitoring of all patients simultaneously.

The initiative is expected to benefit patients from Udaipur and nearby districts by providing affordable, world-class, and comfortable healthcare services. Senior doctors, medical professionals, and hospital staff members were present during the inauguration ceremony.
