Sri Ganganagar: The third quarterly meeting of the Implementation and Review Committee for the Development-Oriented Action Plan 2025–26 was held on Monday at the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Manju.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector Mrs. Swati Gupta, Managing Director of The Ganganagar Central Cooperative Bank Limited Mr. Sanjay Garg, representatives of various banks, and concerned departmental officers.
During the meeting, a point-wise review was conducted on the bank’s share capital, reserves and funds, deposits, loan disbursement, loan recovery, investments, cash and bank balances, and pending cases. While reviewing progress up to December 2025 against the targets set for the financial year 2025–26, the District Collector directed officials to accelerate efforts to achieve the set goals.
It was informed that satisfactory progress had been made in share capital, reserve funds, and deposits. While reviewing the status of loan disbursement and recovery, instructions were issued to ensure that eligible farmers, self-help groups, and other beneficiaries receive scheme benefits in a timely manner. Emphasis was also placed on effective recovery of outstanding loans.
The District Collector stated that extending banking services to the last person remains a priority. She urged all banks and departments to work in coordination to ensure 100 percent achievement of the prescribed targets.
Managing Director Mr. Sanjay Garg informed that against the total target of ₹4,425 lakh set for share capital for the year 2025–26, ₹4,198.55 lakh had been achieved by the end of the third quarter (December 2025), representing 94.88 percent of the allocated target. Similarly, 99.21 percent of the target was achieved under reserves and funds, while 96.43 percent of the deposit target was fulfilled by December 2025.
For loan disbursement, against the total annual target of ₹1,30,000 lakh, ₹1,00,110 lakh had been allocated up to December 2025, achieving 79.81 percent of the target. The bank’s 11 branches have a total of 1,335 lockers, of which 947 have been allotted.
