District Collector and SP Honor Collaborators Under Drug-Free Campaign

Sriganganagar: Under the Drug-Free India Campaign, a special program to honor collaborators of the Drug-Free Sriganganagar initiative was organized on Tuesday under Operation Seema Sankalp, led by District Collector Dr. Manju and Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan. The program recognized individuals who have actively worked to raise awareness against drug abuse in the community.

Dr. Manju, serving as the chief guest, and Dr. Amrita Duhan, as the distinguished guest, attended the event. During the program, Mr. Vikram Jyani, co-in-charge of the Drug-Free Sriganganagar campaign from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, called out the names of collaborators who have inspired social awareness against drugs. The applause from the audience reflected that this was not just an award ceremony but a celebration of social awakening.

Addressing the honorees, District Collector Dr. Manju said, “This honor is not just symbolic but a recognition of your courage and dedication in standing against drug abuse and motivating people. No police or administrative effort alone can succeed without society’s support. We hope you will continue to advance this mission. Such recognition programs will be organized regularly. For this fight to succeed, every street, neighborhood, and household must stand against drugs.”

Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan added, “With your support, we can win this battle. The fight against drugs is not just the responsibility of the police or administration; it belongs to the entire society. Your cooperation can write a new chapter of change. When the community stands together, no evil can survive.”

The program was attended by several collaborators and community leaders, including Mr. Mahavir Dugesar, Mrs. Sonu Saharan, Mr. Saurabh Saharan, Mr. Shivram Nath, Mr. Aman Barad, Mr. Shailendra Kumar, Mr. Virendra Yadav, Mr. Firoz Khan, Mr. Rubi Gaur, Mr. Omprakash Kalia, Mr. Narendra Das Kamad, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Mr. Manohar Indaliya, Mr. Rakesh Berad, Mr. Hanuman Prasad, Mr. Madanlal, Mr. Sonu Nayak, and members of the Youth Club Rampura Nyola.
