Railway Gift for Pilgrims Visiting Lord Krishna’s City

Sriganganagar: On the request of former Union Minister Nihal Chand, the railways are operating a special Shri Ganganagar–Idgah (Agra)–Shri Ganganagar train to facilitate travelers during the Holi festival. Former ZRUCC member Bhim Sharma suggested utilizing the rake of the Shri Ganganagar–Nanded bi-weekly train on Wednesdays and Thursdays for this special service. According to Mr. Sharma, four trips have been scheduled initially, with the possibility of adding more if passenger demand is high.

Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, stated that train number 04733 (Shri Ganganagar–Idgah, Agra) weekly special will operate from March 4 to March 25, 2026, covering four trips. The train will depart from Shri Ganganagar on Wednesdays at 2:30 PM and arrive at Idgah on Thursdays at 5:15 AM.

Similarly, train number 04734 (Idgah, Agra–Shri Ganganagar weekly special) will operate from March 5 to March 26, 2026, covering four trips. It will depart Idgah on Thursdays at 7:30 AM and reach Shri Ganganagar on Fridays at 2:30 AM.

This special train will halt at the following stations along the route: Abohar, Malout, Bathinda, Raman, Kalanwali, Sirsa, Bhattu, Mandi Adampur, Hisar, Hansi, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Rewari, Alwar, Ramgarh, Govindgarh, Brijnagar, Deeg, Govardhan, Mathura, and Achhnera.

The train will comprise 19 coaches: 1 Second AC, 5 Third AC, 2 Third AC Economy, 5 Second Sleeper, 4 General Class, and 2 Power Cars.

Members of North Western Railway Bikaner Division ZRUCC, Sunil Agrawal and Akash, have requested an additional halt at Bawanikheda for this train.
