Sriganganagar – In accordance with the directives of the State Election Commission, Jaipur, a meeting of political party representatives was held on Wednesday in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Election Officer and District Collector Dr. Manju. During the meeting, the final voter lists for the Panchayati Raj General Elections 2026 were handed over to the representatives.
The District Election Officer informed that, as per the schedule issued by the State Election Commission, the draft voter lists were published on January 29, 2026, with a total of 11,43,004 voters in Sriganganagar district. Claims and objections were received between January 29 and February 7. The lists of claims and objections received by the Electoral Registration Officer were shared with recognized political parties. After processing these claims and objections, the final voter lists were published on February 25, 2026. According to the final lists, the district now has a total of 11,45,127 voters, including 5,95,461 male and 5,49,661 female voters.
During the meeting, political party representatives were provided free of charge with soft copies (photo-free) and hard copies of the final voter lists 2026 for all Panchayat Samiti areas at the level of the respective Electoral Registration Officers. Representatives were also informed that these lists are available online on the State Election Commission’s website: www.sec.rajasthan.gov.in. The District Election Officer further clarified that the process for adding, removing, or modifying entries in the voter list is ongoing continuously.
The meeting was attended by Sub-District Election Officer Sh. Subhash Kumar, Electoral Registration Officer Sriganganagar Sh. Nayan Gautam, Sh. Bhimraj Dabi (Indian National Congress), Sh. Bhajan Singh Gharu and Sh. Suresh Shekhawat (Bahujan Samaj Party), Sh. Pradeep Sharma (Bharatiya Janata Party), Sh. Shankar Meghwal (Aam Aadmi Party), and other officials and representatives.
