Sri Ganganagar: As per the directions of the State Election Commission, Jaipur, the final publication of electoral rolls (voter lists) for Sri Ganganagar Municipal Council as well as Padampur, Gharsana, and Anupgarh municipalities was completed on April 22, 2026.
Prior to the publication, a meeting of representatives from political parties was held under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Election Officer Subhash Kumar. During the meeting, hard and soft copies of the voter lists were handed over to the representatives.
The Sub-Divisional Election Officer informed that, as per the Commission’s guidelines, the final electoral rolls of Sri Ganganagar Municipal Council and the municipalities of Padampur, Gharsana, and Anupgarh were officially published on Wednesday, April 22.
He further stated that after the final publication of the voter list for Sri Ganganagar Municipal Council, there are 175 polling stations across 65 wards, with a total of 194,832 voters. Similarly, Padampur Municipality has 25 wards and 25 polling stations with 15,218 voters; Anupgarh Municipality has 35 wards and 35 polling stations with 23,844 voters; and Gharsana Municipality has 25 wards and 25 polling stations with 19,212 voters.
He also informed that the final voter lists for the remaining seven municipalities in the district will be published on May 8, 2026.
The meeting was attended by Sri Ganganagar SDM Nayan Gautam, BJP representatives Pradeep Dherad and Jaskaran Singh Saran, INC representatives Bheemraj Dabi and Shyamlal Shekhawat, BSP representatives Bhajan Singh Dharu and Parmanand Sain, Aam Aadmi Party representative Kulvinder Singh, along with others.
