Kota: At the 15th Convocation Ceremony of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, Dr. Monica Sharma, a guest lecturer at the Government Engineering College Baran, was conferred with a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering.
During the ceremony, the degree was presented to Dr. Sharma by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nimit Chaudhary of Rajasthan Technical University. The event was attended by Chief Guest Prof. B. P. Saraswat, Vice-Chancellor of University of Kota, along with the Director of Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani.
Dr. Monica Sharma completed her research under the expert guidance and supervision of Dr. M. P. Chaudhary and Dr. Anil K. Mathur. Her research topic was “Analysis/Monitoring of Air Pollution of Kota City and Mitigation Action under the National Clean Air Program.” The study provides important technical recommendations aimed at improving the air quality of Kota city.
The guests appreciated the relevance of the research as well as the valuable guidance provided by the supervisors. Congratulating Dr. Monica Sharma on this significant academic achievement, Principal Dr. S. K. Sharma of Government Engineering College Baran stated that the research is highly important from an environmental protection perspective.
