Land Conservation: Our Priority for Sustainable Development - Dr. P.K. Singh

Udaipur: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Department of Resource Management and Consumer Sciences at the College of Community and Applied Sciences, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, organized an undergraduate student seminar. The college students presented their thoughts on environmental education and resource management.

Dr. P.K. Singh, Dean of the College of Community and Applied Sciences, addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation. He remarked that the poster presentations not only marked the significance of World Environment Day but also showcased the dedication and enthusiasm of the students in advancing environmental issues.

This year's theme, "Land Restoration, Combating Desertification and Drought Resilience," was highlighted by students such as Shanya, Seema Meena, Riya, and Deep Ranjan, who presented posters on the worsening environmental problems. The event was organized with the participation of Dr. Suman Singh, Dr. Rekha Vyas, Dr. Hemu Rathore, Dr. Jaymala Dave, Dr. Ruchi Parikh, and Dr. Anjali Juyal. A total of 27 students participated in the program.
