Rotary Elite, as part of their ambitious Fairy and E-Auto project, is set to launch the 'Pink Auto' campaign this month. Under this initiative, selected women auto drivers will receive high-quality branded e-autos to support their families. The project, in collaboration with RTI Foundation, aims to empower women through skill development and economic independence.
Club President Vikas Shrimale shared details about the project, highlighting its focus on women's empowerment. The launch of the Pink Auto campaign marks a significant step toward achieving the objectives of the Fairy and E-Auto project.
Five women have been selected for the project, and the club will provide them with high-quality branded e-autos through the support of Bhamashahs. These women auto drivers have undergone training by RTI to obtain the necessary licenses. They will operate the e-autos, supporting their livelihoods and families.
As part of the project's commencement, a motivational session was organized, where women auto drivers from Kota shared their experiences with the proposed drivers. They provided valuable insights and tips for success in this venture, while also addressing potential challenges.
Representatives from the Kota and Udaipur Unity Auto Unions were present, expressing their appreciation for Rotary Elite's initiative. They assured full support to the women auto drivers and commended the project for its positive impact on women's economic empowerment.
The program witnessed the presence of many club members and supporters, emphasizing the widespread support for the women auto drivers. Notably, the project has received full support from the District Collector, District Administration, and the RTI Department.
