Bhatt Assumes Office as CEO of Vidya Bhawan Society

Udaipur . Retired Indian Administrative Service officer Rajendra Bhatt took charge as the Chief Executive Officer of Vidya Bhawan Society on Tuesday. He will lead the activities and operations of the society's 11 institutions. The committee president J.K. Tailyia, vice president Hansraj Chaudhary, and treasurer Anil Shah formally welcomed him. Society members Rekha Agarwal, Arun Chaturvedi, Harish Mathur, and staff were also present at the occasion.

Rajendra Bhatt, known for his administrative skills, has an impressive track record as the District Collector of Dungarpur and Bhilwara. During his tenure as the Collector of Bhilwara, he effectively managed the COVID-19 pandemic, creating a management model that gained international recognition as a successful approach to controlling such health crises. This work significantly enhanced his reputation in the field of public service on a global scale. 

He has also served in various key positions, including Commissioner of Devasthan, Managing Director of RSMML, Commissioner of TAD, and Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur, from which he recently retired. He was also the first Chairman of the Udaipur Development Authority. 

On this occasion, President Tailyia stated that Vidya Bhawan, a prestigious and longstanding philanthropic organization, will greatly benefit from Bhatt's extensive administrative experience. Bhatt mentioned that a meeting with the heads of all 11 institutions is scheduled for November 5 to prepare a future action plan.
