A poetry symposium was organized by the Rajasthan Sahitya Academy

Udaipur, On the occasion of the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Mandir, a poetry symposium was organized by the Rajasthan Sahitya Academy in collaboration with Navkriti and the Poetry Forum Jodhpur at the Academy auditorium. The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the program's chief guest, eminent author Dr. Girish Nath Mathur, and the presidents of the poetry forum, Shailendra Dhadha and Ramdayal Mehera, in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati. The event commenced with a prayer to Goddess Saraswati by Manmohan Madhukar, accompanied by his composition titled "Har Ghat Mahi Bas Raha Saanson Ke Sang Ram."

During the event, poets engaged in discussions on literature related to Lord Rama and highlighted its significance. Dr. Girish Nath Mathur emphasized that Tulsidas' epic, Ramcharitmanas, is not just a poetic work but also a repository of Indian culture. He stated that embracing Indian culture leads to a successful and meaningful life. Renowned author Dr. Krishnakumar Sharma portrayed devotion to Rama as inspirational, asserting that devotion to Rama brings an end to the illusion of the worldly night. Kishan Dadhich, through his song "Sirf Ayodhya Nahin Ram Ki, Saara Bharat Ram Katha," expressed that Lord Rama is a symbol of Indian culture. He proclaimed that Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas imparts a sense of duty to humanity.

Ikbal Husain Iqbal presented his composition, "Aas Liye Yah Ja Rahe Hum Sarayu Ke Kul, Charan Pade Raghuvir Ke Mil Jaye Wo Dhool." Dr. Sanjay Gaud expressed affection for Ayodhya through his piece, "Hamara Hai Avadh Pyara, Prabhu Shri Ram Ka Pyara." Dr. Husaini Bohra conveyed, "Main Hoon Ram, Tu Hai Ram." Sanjay Vyas recited, "Dehari Par Ek Diya Dhara Hai Tumko Jeete-Jeete," among other presentations. Additionally, writers such as Dr. Kundan Mali, Dr. Jyotipunj, Khursheed Sheikh Khursheed, Balveer Singh Bhatnagar, Jagdish Tiwari, Shyam Matapal, Anuradha Suthar, Purnima Bokadia, Chandrashekhar Narlai, Aina Udaipuri, Dr. Simmi Singh, Dr. Priyanka Bhatt, Kiran Bala Jinagar, Dr. Chandrarekha Sharma, and others showcased their literary works.

The event was attended by Jagdish Paliwal, Dr. Prakash Nebhnani, Mukesh Dhangar, Rajkiran Raj, Rajesh Mehta, Dinesh Aroda, Deepika Kumawat, Lalita Gayari, Narendra Singh Rajput, and other dignitaries. Jayprakash Bhatnagar, on behalf of the Rajasthan Sahitya Academy, expressed gratitude, and Kiran Acharya conducted the program. The Academy was adorned with special decorations, rangoli, and an array of lamps on the auspicious occasion of the consecration of the Ramalala idol. The vibrant decorations will continue at the Academy premises until Republic Day and the Foundation Day on January 28.
