### World Breastfeeding Week Begins Tomorrow with Book Launch

Udaipur,  The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pacific Medical College & Hospital will organize World Breastfeeding Week from August 1 to August 7. 

Dr. Rajrani Sharma, Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, stated that this year's theme for World Breastfeeding Day is "Close the Gap - Support Breastfeeding for All." The goal of World Breastfeeding Week is to educate mothers about the importance of breastfeeding and the benefits it offers to their infants.

During the event, a book was unveiled by PMCH Chairman Rahul Agarwal, Executive Director Aman Agarwal, CEO Sharad Kothari, Principal and Dean Dr. M.M. Mangal, and Dr. Rajrani Sharma.

Dr. Rajrani Sharma also mentioned that various programs will be organized throughout the week, including essay competitions for PG students, poster competitions for MBBS students, slogan/poster competitions for physiotherapy students, and slogan writing competitions for nursing staff. Additionally, MBBS students will visit nearby villages to educate women about the benefits of breastfeeding.
