Civic Action Program Organized at Renuka Government School by 48th Battalion SSB

Sriganganagar: In the bordering village of Renuka in the Sriganganagar tehsil, a Civic Action Program was organized on Friday by the 48th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), under the command of Shri Deepak Minz, Second in Command of the 48th Battalion SSB.

Shri Minz mentioned that every year, the SSB conducts the Civic Action Program in the border villages, wherein free educational materials and supplies used in schools are distributed among students from various schools. Additionally, the 48th Battalion is organizing recruitment training and volleyball tournaments for the rural population in Pririkrutmement. He encouraged the rural populace to keep their children physically and mentally healthy and prepare them for recruitment in various police and paramilitary forces. Any information or assistance from the SSB can be obtained by contacting the Border Outpost (BOP) in the respective villages.

In the program, educational materials and sports equipment were distributed by the SSB to the Senior Secondary School Renuka, Anganwadi Center Renuka, Anganwadi Center Dullapurkheri, Sanskrit Vidyalaya Dullapurkheri, and Anganwadi Center Maderan.

District Collector Pratap Singh Negi, along with Kamlesh Kumar Rolania, Assistant Superintendent, and Jai Ousaf, Assistant Superintendent, Company Commander Madan Lal, Sumitra Devi Sarpanch Renuka, Babbli Devi Up-Sarpanch, and Vinod Kumar, social worker from Maderan, were present at the program. Students and villagers participated in the program, showcasing cultural performances infused with patriotism. Headmistress Jyotsna and Manjeet Kaur expressed gratitude on behalf of the schools and villages towards the SSB.
