Administrative Officials Conduct Night Camps in Remote Villages

Jaisalmer,  To address public issues on-site, administrative officials organized night camps in various gram panchayats across the district on Thursday. During these camps, district administration officers listened to villagers' grievances and resolved issues immediately.

District Collector's Visit to Khumansar

District Collector Pratap Singh held a night camp in Khumansar village of Bhaniyana block. He sensitively addressed the villagers' concerns, receiving and reviewing each petition personally. Singh directed departmental officials to resolve issues at the local level to prevent the need for district-level interventions. He also gathered feedback on water and electricity services and the implementation of state government schemes.

Singh highlighted the state's three-tier system for grievance redressal, where monthly public hearings are held at the gram panchayat level with all relevant officials present, ensuring local resolution of problems to avoid unnecessary block and district-level visits.

Additional District Collector's Camp in Dedha

Additional District Collector Munneeram Bagdiya conducted a night camp in Dedha gram panchayat. Villagers reported various issues, including electricity and water supply, encroachments on government land, and concerns related to medical and veterinary services. Bagdiya instructed the Water Resources Department engineer to investigate and ensure a smooth water supply and directed the Electricity Department officials to ensure proper voltage supply.

CEO's Camp in Tejamalta

Chief Executive Officer Bhagirat Vishnoi held a night camp in Tejamalta gram panchayat, addressing villagers' concerns and obtaining feedback on rural development programs. Villagers presented applications for issues such as loan distribution, opening public pathways, ensuring water supply in Jogidas village, and connecting the southern part of Tejamalta to the canal pipeline.

The night camps provided an effective platform for direct interaction between the administration and rural communities, facilitating timely resolution of local issues.
