Indore — Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, 2030 Ka Bharat, a nodal agency driving India's progress on Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Quality Education (SDG 4) and Clean Energy (SDG 7), has released a new campaign film titled "Let's Redefine Raksha." The film opens with a rakhi being tied on a wrist — a symbol every Indian recognises — and then follows a young woman through her day: leading a meeting at work, walking confidently through her city, showing up fully as herself. The message is simple but pointed — real raksha (protection) isn't about being sheltered or held back. It is about being given the opportunity, education and dignity to rise on one's own terms. "Raksha Bandhan has always been about protection and care. This year, we wanted to ask what protection truly means for India in 2030 — and the answer is opportunity," said Dr. Atul Malikram, Founder and CEO , 2030 Ka Bharat. "Through our work in classrooms, on the streets with vendors, and in communities battling hunger, we see every day that the strongest form of protection is the power to stand on one's own feet." The campaign ties directly into 2030 Ka Bharat's on-ground initiatives — including the Teachers' Empowerment Program, which has trained over 1,200 government-school teachers, and Project Uplift, which has supported 450+ street vendors with branding and market access — reinforcing the idea that empowerment, not dependency, is the truest form of care.
