To promote awareness on Swadeshi initiatives and GST reforms, Jaipur Vyapar Mahasangh and Business Circle India (BCI) Jaipur jointly organized a significant program at Hotel Living, Subhash Nagar, Jaipur. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of traders, women entrepreneurs, industrialists, and officials from various departments across Jaipur and nearby regions.
BCI Founder Mukesh Madhwani shared that the keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Sunil Singhi, Chairman of the National Traders Welfare Board, Government of India. In his address, Mr. Singhi emphasized the importance of adopting Swadeshi products, strengthening startups and MSMEs, and empowering trade through ongoing GST reforms. He highlighted that prioritizing Indian products not only supports local industries but also contributes to building a stronger national economy.
During the program, traders and entrepreneurs were encouraged to adopt and promote Swadeshi products. Selected business achievers were honored with the “Swadeshi Business Excellence Awards.” Experts delivered detailed presentations on GST reforms, explaining benefits, simplified procedures, and compliance requirements. A roadmap was also shared to develop Jaipur as a “Swadeshi Mart,” providing a structured platform and wider market access for local products.
BCI discussed initiatives aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs through branding, marketing, and digital expansion of their products. Participants were also informed about various schemes and facilities offered by the Rajasthan Government and Government of India for traders, MSMEs, and startups. The strong participation of women entrepreneurs at the event underscored the growing momentum toward women-led economic empowerment.

Major Business Summit Announced
As part of the next phase of action, Jaipur Vyapar Mahasangh and BCI announced the outline for a major upcoming business summit, envisioned as a grand Swadeshi and trade conclave. The proposed summit aims to bring together traders, women entrepreneurs, and startup units from across Rajasthan onto one unified platform, thereby boosting Swadeshi products at a larger scale.
Both organizations expressed confidence that such initiatives will provide long-term benefits to the business community of Rajasthan and further accelerate the Swadeshi economic ecosystem.
