Udaipur. Renowned educationist and former Vice Chancellor Prof. Amarika Singh recently paid a courtesy visit to senior educationist and former Vice Chancellor Prof. Ratanlal Godara.

During the meeting, the two academicians discussed the idea of forming an association of retired professors and vice chancellors. The objective of this body would be to link education with employment and position India as a global leader.

They emphasized that in today’s academic ecosystem, skill-based knowledge is of utmost importance, as nations with skilled citizens are progressing at a rapid pace. India’s New Education Policy (NEP) has been recognized as a significant step in this direction, with most universities beginning to implement it.

Both scholars expressed satisfaction that India now ranks 10th globally in the field of skills and innovation. This achievement reflects a strong signal towards the realization of the dream of a Developed India.

Sharing their experiences, the two former Vice Chancellors conveyed confidence that the coming era would indeed mark a golden phase for India.
