Udaipur, The Platinum Jubilee (completion of 75 years) of St. Mary’s Convent Senior Secondary School, New Fatehpura, was celebrated through a grand annual ceremony, which became a historic moment for the institution. The event was presided over by CDEO Pratibha Gupta. The distinguished guests included FSMA Provincial Superior Sister Doris, Principal Judge Pooja Surana, and Dr. Amrita Baheti Verma. Hundreds of guests, alumnae, teachers, and parents were present, reminiscing about the institution’s illustrious journey.

The ceremony was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Pratibha Gupta. Themed “Anugoonj — You Are the Creator of Your Own Life”, the programme showcased the school’s 75-year glorious journey through a series of performances presented by students from LKG to Class 12. The institution’s contribution to girls’ education in Udaipur has remained remarkable. Being counted among the city’s premier schools, its achievements have consistently served as milestones.

Throughout the phases of student life, the school has played a vital role in personality development and value enhancement. With changing times, the institution has continuously been engaged in fulfilling educational objectives through technology and innovation. The school has also played a distinguished role in various social responsibilities.

On this occasion, the school magazine — a compilation of the creative works of students — was released, and the annual report was presented.

Principal Sister Kiran Jojo delivered an inspiring address, highlighting future plans and sharing the major accomplishments achieved over the 75-year journey. The chief guest appreciated the progress of the institution and encouraged the youth to pursue innovation.

A special presentation by the students on women empowerment remained a major attraction. The ceremony not only strengthened the legacy of the institution but also infused new energy for the years ahead.
