Prof. Sarangdevot Performs Rudrabhishek and Plantation with Staff

Udaipur — The birthday of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University Vice Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all three campuses of the institution. Staff members welcomed and honoured Prof. Sarangdevot with a traditional turban, uparana, garlands, and a memento. From early morning, social, political, and religious representatives began arriving at his residence to greet him, a stream that continued late into the night.

Prof. Sarangdevot, accompanied by staff members, paid homage at the statue of founder Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar, performed Rudrabhishek at the Mahadev Temple, and participated in a tree-planting activity. The main ceremony was held at the central office, where he received a grand welcome, including a 21-kilogram garland presented by the staff.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Sarangdevot stated that the university’s loyal, dedicated, and honest workers are its strongest asset and true pride. He added that the institution has earned recognition not only in India but also internationally. Recalling the words of founder Janubhai, he said, “Planting a hundred trees is easy, but nurturing even one committed worker is extremely difficult. The path for joining the institution is wide, but the exit path is very narrow.” He emphasised that the global reputation achieved by the university is entirely due to the efforts of its committed workforce.
