Udaipur – Maharana Mewar Public School, City Palace, Udaipur, achieved remarkable success at the regional and state-level Science Model Competition and Teaching Aids Competition, bringing pride to the institution through its outstanding collective performance. Student teams and faculty members demonstrated exceptional innovation, scientific temperament, and academic excellence, earning qualification for the national-level event.

At the regional competition held at the DST Office, Udaipur, the school delivered an impressive performance among 33 entries. The ‘Therma Vault Model’ by Taha Hussain (Class 12) and Lakshya Suhalka (Class 11), guided by Dr. Kusum Lata Soni, secured first place. The ‘Smart Parking System Model’ by Vansh Singhi and Yatharth Shrimali (Class 10), mentored by Mrs. Pinky Dhanwani, secured fourth place. Both teams qualified for the state-level competition.

In the Teaching Aids category, Mrs. Shipra Bhojak (PGT Chemistry) earned first position at the regional level for her innovative and academically impactful teaching aid, advancing to the state level.

At the state-level competition held on 17 November 2025 at DST Bikaner, the school continued its noteworthy performance, with the student teams securing fourth and fifth positions. Mrs. Shipra Bhojak achieved second position in the Teaching Aids category, reaffirming her excellence.

Based on these achievements, both student teams and Mrs. Bhojak have been selected to participate in the prestigious Western India Science Fair, scheduled from 10 to 13 December 2025 in Mumbai, where they will represent both Rajasthan and Maharana Mewar Public School.

The school’s Honorary Director, Satish Kumar Sharma, congratulated the young innovators and mentors, stating that their success has elevated the school’s scientific and academic stature on the national stage.
