Udaipur: Writing, editing, and publishing during student life help build self-confidence, communication skills, and leadership qualities. This process can be described as a form of inner engineering, said Dr. Venkatesh Sharma, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Rajasthan, while releasing the annual magazine “Navdrishti” of Vidya Bhavan Polytechnic on Monday.

Educationist and Vidya Bhavan Board member Pushpa Sharma appreciated the creativity of the students. She said that if engineering students develop an interest in literature, reading, and creative writing, these qualities stay with them throughout life and also support excellence in engineering practice.

Honorary Secretary Gopal Bamb stated that the foundation of writers, editors, and literary personalities is laid within educational institutions.

Former Head of Department Jaykant Dave advised diploma engineering students to maintain a navdrishti (new perspective) in every situation of life.

At the beginning of the program, Principal Dr. Anil Mehta welcomed the guests and said that writing enhances sensitivity and helps develop responsible citizenship values.

Chief Editor Dr. Sonu Heerawat highlighted the objectives of the magazine, while student editors Rakshit and Sumedha shared their experiences related to its publication.
