Udaipur:Under the aegis of Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir (a unit of AVM), Udaipur, an Inter-School Football Tournament will be organized on January 17 at the school’s newly constructed, expansive sports ground located at Ambamata. A total of 16 teams from schools across Udaipur city will participate in the tournament.

At the opening ceremony, the Secretary of the Rajasthan Football Association, Dilip Singh Shekhawat, and the Secretary of the Udaipur Football Association, Shakeel Ahmed, will grace the occasion as chief guests. The closing ceremony will be attended by District Sports Officer Mahesh Paliwal as the chief guest.

Member of the Organizing Committee and Vice-Principal Dr. Gajendra Sharma informed that students from MMVM, MMPS, St. Paul’s, Rockwood, The Study, Neerja Modi, CPS, Crossroads, VIT International, Indo American, Step by Step, St. Gregorios, St. Anthony’s, Mount Litera, Seedling, and other schools will take part in the competition.

Principal Pratima Sharma stated that trophies, medals, and certificates will be awarded to the Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, as well as the winning and runner-up teams. On this occasion, members of the Management Committee of Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir, teachers, and other distinguished guests will also be present.
