Jaisalmer. A weekly review meeting was convened on Monday at the District Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Pratap Singh. The meeting witnessed participation of district-level officials and included detailed department-wise presentations on flagship schemes, budget announcements, ongoing departmental works, grievances received from the Chief Minister’s Office, pending cases on the Sampark Portal, e-filing progress, inter-departmental issues, and major schemes such as PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, and Karmabhoomi Se Matrabhumi Yojana.

The District Collector instructed all departmental officers to ensure the timely completion of their allotted targets without delay.

Expedited Disposal of Pending Cases

Collector Singh emphasized the need for speedy disposal of pending matters and directed officials to bring about rapid progress in this regard.

He instructed the Superintending Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department to ensure a regular, smooth, and well-organized water supply in both urban and rural areas so that residents do not face drinking water issues.

Strengthening of Health and Social Welfare Schemes

The Chief Medical and Health Officer was directed to further strengthen healthcare services across the district. Special emphasis was placed on preventive measures against seasonal diseases likely to occur during the monsoon, including fogging and other required arrangements.

The Collector also called for timely progress in pending cases under schemes such as PMJAY, Ladli Yojana, and Janani Suraksha Yojana, which have been delayed for six months.

Housing, Education, and Power Supply Reviewed

The CEO of Zila Parishad was asked to ensure timely completion of works under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana.

The District Education Officer provided details regarding schools without electricity and land leases, with instructions for swift corrective action.

The Superintending Engineer of the Electricity Department was instructed to improve fluctuating voltage, rectify disorganized power lines, and prioritize works such as electrical shifting and installation of high-mast lights at the historic Gadsisar site. Additionally, he was directed to complete all pending power connections at the earliest.
