Udaipur: In a significant initiative aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and investment in Rajasthan, the Arambh Investor Summit 2026 was organised at the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. Around 350 startups and emerging ventures from across the country registered for the summit, while nearly 200 participants attended the event in person.

Entrepreneurs from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Noida, Maharashtra and several other states presented their business models, innovative ideas and capital requirements before investors and industry experts. The summit provided emerging entrepreneurs with a platform to access investment opportunities, mentorship, industry connections and potential business partnerships.

The event brought together several prominent investors, experts and industry representatives, including Meghna Dixit, CA Vaishali Khetan, Anil Kumar Tulsidas, Mayank Agrawal, Roshan Jain, Wing Commander Dr Praveen Thapar, Manish Paliwal, Mukesh Kumar, Brijesh Hiran, Narayan Gurjar, Shaurya Gatani and Prof. Hemendra Telasara of IIM Udaipur. Dr Anand Gupta, Director of Aravali Group of Hospitals, attended the summit as a special guest.

Selected Startups Present Growth Models

Selected emerging ventures, including Bihar Brand, Lupa Burg, Finonest, M Wellness Bazaar, Growpart, Indivotion and Exam A, presented their business models, growth strategies and future expansion prospects to investors during the summit.

Potential Investment Commitments Cross ₹10 Crore

During the summit, investors expressed potential investment commitments of more than ₹10 crore for selected emerging ventures. As the next step, the Arambh team will work with the startups on detailed due diligence, business plans and strategies for deployment of investment capital.

The objective is to ensure that the proposed investments are utilised effectively for business expansion, innovation and employment generation.

An investor group from Maharashtra also expressed a long-term commitment to invest up to ₹50 crore in promising emerging ventures. The proposed investment may be made in phases, subject to the progress of the ventures, detailed due diligence and mutual agreement between the investors and entrepreneurs.

Arambh Aims to Build South Rajasthan’s Entrepreneurship Hub

Arambh Entrepreneurship Promotion Centre, operated by the Vyam Group, is a private entrepreneurship promotion and innovation centre focused on South Rajasthan. It is being guided under the leadership of Vyam Group Chairman and former Indian Air Force officer Rohit Paliwal.

Arambh aims to support emerging ventures through incubation, mentorship, investor connections, business networking, investment readiness and opportunities for business expansion.

Udaipur Looks Beyond Tourism Towards Entrepreneurship

Arambh aims to position Udaipur not only as a leading tourism destination but also as a growing hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and investment.

Going forward, the initiative plans to expand its entrepreneurship support programmes and investor network across Rajasthan as well as other states, creating greater opportunities for emerging businesses and strengthening the startup ecosystem.
