Udaipur – The dream envisioned by late Rekha Somani is now becoming a reality. Under the guidance of Devendra Somani, the Rekha Somani Foundation has launched a powerful initiative to provide free Chartered Accountancy education to underprivileged but meritorious girls.

In its first batch, 10 girls have been selected from different states including Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab. These girls will be offered four years of free coaching, including accommodation, meals, and comprehensive educational support.

The long-term goal of the foundation is to empower 500 underprivileged girls to become Chartered Accountants. The initiative is supported by Chartered Accountants from across India and abroad, who are committed to mentoring and guiding the girls throughout their journey.

"If a girl takes one step forward, 20 Chartered Accountants will walk alongside her," said CA Yashwant Mangal, who played a key role in shaping the program.

The girls were given a warm welcome during the orientation session, where they expressed their gratitude and determination. The foundation aims to create a space where education transforms lives and dreams are no longer bound by economic limitations.

In addition to academic support, the girls will also receive yoga training and personality development sessions as part of their holistic growth.

This unique mission not only honors the memory of Rekha Somani but also sets a new benchmark in social responsibility and women empowerment through education.
