Dr. Paritosh Chandra Dugar, a distinguished academician and internationally published flash fiction writer from Udaipur, proudly represented India at the prestigious Flash Fiction Festival held at Trinity College, Bristol (UK) from 18 th to 20 th July 2025.




Organized by the Bath Flash Fiction Award and Ad Hoc Fiction, the festival is one of the most celebrated international gatherings for flash fiction writers. Dr. Dugar was invited to the festival as the sole representative from India, marking a significant recognition for Indian flash fiction onnthe global literary stage.
During the festival, Dr. Dugar captivated audiences with readings of his stories, “My Shirt” and “An Algorithm of Revenge.” These stories were featured in special sessions conducted by leading flash fiction authors Audrey Niven (UK), Fiona Mckay (Ireland), and Nancy Stohlman (USA), respectively. Both stories received wide appreciation and enthusiastic applause from an international audience of writers, editors, and literary enthusiasts.
Dr. Dugar’s participation not only highlighted the growing presence of Indian voices in global literary circles but also underscored the power of flash fiction as a form of sharp, emotive storytelling that transcends borders.
