Udaipur – The oath-taking ceremony of the newly formed executive committee of Taleemul Islam Anjuman was held with great enthusiasm at the New Auditorium near Hathipol Gate in the M.B. Hospital premises.

Chief Guest M.D. Chopdar, Chairman of the Rajasthan Madarsa Board and State President of the Minority Department, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, stated that in today’s modern era, the Muslim community can progress socially and economically only through education. Presiding over the function, Khanu Khan Budhwali, Chairman of the Rajasthan Waqf Board, emphasised that the path to progress passes through education, which dispels ignorance and lays the foundation for a bright future for children. AICC member Dinesh Khodania was also present.

The event was attended by Mufti Sahab, Maulana Julkarnain Sahab, former Udaipur District Collector Tara Chand Meena, Col. Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Dr. Waseem Khan, Dr. Vivek Katara, Gajpal Singh Rathore, Fateh Singh Rathore, Chandra Gupt Singh Chauhan, Ikram Rashid Qureshi, Mohammad Saeed Iqbal, Naeem Khan Pathan, Dr. Abdul Salam Khan, and Iqbal Sipahi, along with other distinguished guests.

During the ceremony, Anjuman President Mukhtar Ahmed Qureshi, Secretary Advocate Mustafa Sheikh, Vice President Farooq Qureshi, Joint Secretary Izhar Hussain, nominated Treasurer Hidayatullah, Spokesperson Rashid Khan, and all 11 cabinet members took the oath of office.

Following the oath-taking, a meeting of the executive committee and general house members was held at 3:00 PM, focusing on the development of the community in Udaipur city and on education-related initiatives. The guests, in their addresses, stressed the need to work for education, healthcare, and a secure future for children.

The programme saw the presence of general house members of the Anjuman and a large number of prominent citizens from the city.
