Udaipur: With the commencement of underpass construction at Patel Circle and the elevated road project from the railway station, traffic pressure has drastically increased on Kishanpol Road and Khanjipir Road.

In this situation, the Municipal Corporation has placed dividers in the middle of the road, making it extremely narrow and contrary to traffic rules. As a result, residents and commuters are forced to face daily traffic jams and inconvenience.

On the other hand, in the Jawahar Nagar area, the road leading from Kishanpol inward towards Patel Circle and exiting to the City Station has been permanently closed by local residents with a gate.

A memorandum was submitted to the District Collector of Udaipur demanding that the dividers on Kishanpol–Patel Circle Road be removed immediately and that the Jawahar Nagar road be reopened without delay, so that the public may get relief from mounting traffic issues.

The memorandum was presented on behalf of Mohalla Committee Khanjipir–Kishanpol by Rashid Khan, Abdul Kaleem Khan, Mujeeb Siddiqui, Firoz Ahmed Sheikh, Ishaq Khan, Aslam Hussain, and Siraj Ahmed.
