Udaipur. Fresh directives have been issued regarding the 69th district and state-level sports competitions scheduled for secondary, higher secondary, primary, and upper primary schools. In districts affected by heavy rainfall and Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) examinations, the district education officers will finalize the schedule and venues. In other districts, competitions will be held as per the pre-decided calendar.

The department has also announced that district-level teacher sports and cultural competitions of the first group, scheduled till September 13, have been postponed. Similarly, the 36th state-level teacher sports and cultural competitions have been deferred until further notice.

According to the orders issued by Director of Secondary and Primary Education, Seetaram Jat, competitions in unaffected districts—where neither rainfall nor examinations pose any hindrance—will take place on previously announced dates. However, district-level team formation and related activities have been put on hold until further instructions.

The Directorate of Education had earlier scheduled primary and upper primary (under-14) competitions from September 4 to 9. In districts unaffected by weather conditions or exams, the sports competitions will commence from Thursday as planned.
