Udaipur – The Sindhi community has once again demonstrated its commitment to social service and mutual cooperation through the recently launched Accidental Insurance Scheme dedicated to the empowerment and protection of women. So far, 5,071 families have enrolled in the scheme, reflecting a remarkable level of awareness and unity within the community.

Expansion Beyond Udaipur

Former State Minister and Panchayat President Harish Rajani stated that the scheme initially covered only Udaipur. However, due to its success and growing demand, applications have now started arriving from nearby cities including Kankroli, Bhim, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Banswara, and Dungarpur. Community members in these areas can submit their forms at Jhulelal Bhawan, Shakti Nagar for a limited period.

Strong Support from Community Leaders

Several social workers and organizations are actively promoting the free insurance scheme. Key contributors include Gopal Mehta, Kamal Pahuja, Kishore Sidhwani, Ashok Linjara, and the Pujya Sindhi Samaj Udaipur (Pujya Jakababad Panchayat).
