Udaipur: The Rajasthan Pradesh Mali-Saini Mahasabha (Regd.) successfully conducted its provincial convention at Kesari Nandan Garden, Jyotiba Phule Circle, Beawar district headquarters. The event was presided over by Provincial Convention Chairman Tarachand Gehlot and commenced with a floral tribute and lamp lighting at the statue of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.

The Mahasabha’s State General Secretary, Bhawani Shankar Mali, presented the convention agenda. In the first session, discussions were held on organizational expansion, issues faced by the Mali-Saini community, and membership campaigns, with detailed suggestions received from provincial executive members.

State General Secretary Gopal Lal Mali, addressing the convention, emphasized that the strength of the Mahasabha directly contributes to the empowerment of the community. He urged all district and tehsil heads to form their respective executive committees to strengthen the organization locally. He also highlighted the recent attack on Suraj Mali in Kapasan, condemning the violence by local politicians and their supporters, and announced plans for a protest at Chittorgarh district collectorate if justice is not served.

Speakers at the convention also stressed enhancing the community’s participation in upcoming Panchayati Raj elections and assisting members in securing political tickets.

The convention saw the participation of 500 provincial office-bearers, executive members, and district committee members from districts including Bhilwara, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli, Jaipur, Kotputli, Jodhpur, Beawar, Ajmer, Jhunjhunu, Udaipurwati, Khetri, Neemka Thana, Dausa, Nagaur, Pali, Tonk, Baran, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Sirohi, and Jalore.

In the second session, district presidents presented detailed reports on organizational progress. The Mahasabha decided to hold its next provincial convention in Pali district in December. Additionally, Youth Provincial President Ashok Saini announced a youth convention for the Saini community in Jaipur during March-April. All district heads were urged to enroll lifelong members and submit the forms and membership fees to Provincial Treasurer Bahadur Saini promptly. Formation of Education, Health, and Sports cells within the Mahasabha was also approved.

The convention was attended by Udaipur District President Yashwant Mandawara, state office-bearers Uttam Devda, Rewashankar Mali, and several other local leaders.
