Udaipur, Under the public awareness initiative “One Plant – One Life, One Resolution – Green Future” for environmental protection, a tree plantation program was organised by Late Khemraj Katara Government Satellite Hospital, Hiran Magri, Udaipur.

The event was graced by Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat as the Chief Guest, with Dr. Rahul Jain, Superintendent of the Satellite Hospital, presiding over the program. Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organisation, New Delhi, attended as the Guest of Honour.

The ceremony began with a ritual worship of saplings, marked by tying sacred threads (raksha sutra), applying vermilion and rice grains, and chanting the Gayatri Mantra. Following this sacred ritual, 21 saplings were planted in the premises of the Government Satellite Hospital, Sector-6, Hiran Magri, Udaipur.

In his address, MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat said,

“Planting a tree is not merely an act but a gesture of gratitude towards Mother Earth.”

Superintendent Dr. Rahul Jain remarked,

“Through tree plantation and awareness campaigns, we not only protect the environment but also preserve the very source of life.”

Dr. Rajshree Gandhi shared,

“One plant – one family – one future — that is the true message of this campaign. We should pledge to plant a tree on every occasion and care for it throughout its life.”

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Shirish Nath Mathur, National Coordinator; Hemant Jha, State President; Praveen Nahar, District President; Santosh Shakya, Treasurer; Suresh Paliwal, District Coordinator; Ashok, Women Cell Secretary; Pooja Jha, Rekha Mogra, Chandrakala, Arya Samaj activist Narendra Prasad Mathur, Vijay Prakash Viplavi, Ramesh Chandra Ameta, and Nursing Superintendent Ratan Lal Solanki, along with hospital staff.

All guests and participants took a pledge on the occasion:
